This year’s Governor’s Educator of the Year is a committed and caring educator who truly loves supporting students and finding ways of motivating them to work to their potential. She guides her students to be well prepared socially, emotionally and academically. She establishes a wonderful rapport with all of her students and their parents. One parent said that her child has made amazing progress with communication since being in her class and loves how patient and dedicated a teacher she is. Another parent shared that this teacher helped her child feel at home in her class and her magic made him love school. She goes above and beyond her classroom responsibilities to deliver the best educational experience to each and every student that crosses her path. She has a kind, patient, and nurturing demeanor which creates a positive and happy learning environment for her students.
